To make your blog search able you must need to submit your sites/blogs to search engines. Among search engines Google, Bing, Yahoo is most popular.Many people use these search engines to search. For example
suppose you make a blog named Cricket For All.If somebody search in Google related to your blog's content Google will show your blog/site.But how Google will show it.If you indexed your site to google, google will be able to show your blog.For this submitting your site to various search engines is very much needed. In this post i will show you how to submit your site to Google,Bing,Yahoo.Let's see how to submit your site to Google search engine.
For this you need a gmail/google account.If you have then see the following
1.Sign in to google webmaster tools from HERE or simply google it.
2.You will see a new page.Click on the add a site on the top right corner of the page.
3.A pop up window will come.Fill the gap with the URL/Address of your
blog. Example : http://bestwayofblogging.blogspot.com/.
4.A new window will come which indicates to verify owner ship of your blog.Click on alternate method & choose the 1st one named "Add a meta tag to your site's home page" .
5.Click on it you will see a verification code.Copy it.
6.Now log in to your blogger dashboard.Click on Design of your blog which you choosed to submit.
7. A new page will come. In this page you will Edit HTML on the top left. Click on it.
8.A page come where you can edit you Template.After editing do the following
a) Backup your template,
b)Click on expand widget template
Then Edit the HTML.First find this code "<head>" by pressing Ctrl+F.Then paste the verification code
just below it & save your template.See the photo for better understanding.
9.Now go to your google verification page and click on verify button.
10.After verifying you will see a verification successful window.Then click on continue .You have done
