Recent Posts Widget – Provided by Feedburner for Blogger

I have already shared a tutorial on how to add recent posts widget which is introduced by blogger. But on this tutorial I will share another recent posts widget and this is provided by Feedburner. This widget is a little bit different then the Blogger widget. It looks attractive, clean, unique and suit with almost every template. Let’s see how we can add this widget in our blog.

Getting the codes


1. Sign up for Feedburner account. If you already have an account then login to your account.
2. Then select your feed and click on Publicize button.
3. From the left sidebar click on BuzzBoost

4. From the page that open customize your widget and click on Activate.

5. A new page will appear where you will find some codes. Copy them.

Using the codes 

1. Now login to your Blogger dashboard
2. Go to Layout –> Add a Gadget
3. Choose HTML/JavaScript and paste the codes in the form.

4. Save your widget and visit your blog. 

Conclusion


If you want to customize your widget again then go to Feedburner – Publicize – BuzzBoost and edit what you want. Then save the edition and visit your blog. If you are facing any problem with this widget please make comments and don’t forget to share.

  2. This can be a good reference for Feedburner but I did hear some rumors that Google will close Feedburner soon. If this is the case, most bloggers out there will turn to and focus on social media networds to reach out to their readers.
