In almost every blog I have visited is using Popular Posts widget. This widget is very helpful for your blog. It shows the most viewed posts on your blog to your visitors. By this widget readers get introduced with your popular posts or famous posts and they visit those posts too. Thus this widget works toget some visitors to your other posts.
In this short tutorial I will teach you how you will add this widget in your blogger blog.
How you will add this widget
- Go to Dashboard – Layout
- Click on Add a widget
- A pop up window will come. Scroll down on that window and you will find the popular posts widget.
- Click on the Plus Button
- Edit what you want and clicks save
- Now visit to your blog and you will get this widget on your blog.
Configuring this widget for better result
- It’s better to use the most viewed range on All time.
- Use thumbnail but not snippet. It will make your widget bad looking.
- Display at least 5 posts, 7 is standard but not more than 10 posts.
